In response to the demand for drip irrigation water conservation technology and water-fertiliser integration in China, Yin Feihu took the lead in developing a series of special drip irrigation fertilisers and supporting technologies in China; put forward a drip irrigation and fertiliser application system adapted to China's national conditions and different from that of Israel's technology; developed a precision fertiliser application device for drip irrigation in large fields that is applicable to different crops and different soil and water environments; researched and developed a technology for preventing and controlling secondary salinisation of soils under drip irrigation in arid zones. Created technical models for the efficient use of integrated water and fertiliser for major field crops in different regions, and standardised production and field management techniques.
