A delegation from the Kenyan government visited Xianglong Group for inspection and exchange!


From April 18th to 20th, 2025, a delegation from KTDA led by Kenyan government lawmaker GG Kagombe visited Shikefeng Chemical Co., Ltd. for inspection and exchange. The members of this delegation include the senior management of KTDA, the core industry representative of Kenya, the world's largest exporter of black tea. Xie Ruojun, the president of Xianglong Group, Sun Feifei, the vice president, Shandong Ting, the general manager of Shikefeng Eastern Group and Shikefeng Chemical, and Xie Guangkuo, the general manager of Henan Shikefeng Company, accompanied.

As a large enterprise jointly held by approximately 600,000 small-scale tea farmers from 16 tea-producing counties across Kenya, KTDA manages 54 tea factories and 9 subsidiaries, making it one of the world's largest single tea production consortia. This visit focuses on understanding the technological strength and full industrial chain capabilities of Shikefeng Enterprise, and will also hold consultations on deepening cooperation in the agricultural field.

 


On the 18th, the delegation visited Henan Shikefeng Company and inspected the Shikefeng high-tower compound fertilizer production line. General Manager Xie Guangkuo elaborated on the production process in detail, including the high tower granulation technology, advanced drying and cooling systems, as well as strict quality inspection procedures. From the precise feeding of raw materials to the efficient packaging of finished products, every step is carried out precisely and orderly.
On the 19th, the delegation visited the Shikefeng Comprehensive Dispatching and Command Center, systematically observing the intelligent production management system, the full-process quality monitoring system and the innovative research and development achievements independently developed by Shikefeng. In the raw material pretreatment workshop, the delegation closely inspected the digital batching system and the automated production line, and expressed high recognition of the standardized process from raw material processing to finished product packaging. General Manager Shandong Ting introduced that Shikefeng has achieved full traceability of the production process through Internet of Things technology, ensuring that "every grain of fertilizer meets international standards".

 

 

On the 20th, the delegation went to the Shikefeng Export Trade Port to investigate the international logistics system. At the port site, fertilizer products marked with the Shikefeng logo are being loaded and dispatched to multiple regions around the world. The efficient and standardized warehouse management and multimodal transport capabilities have left a deep impression on the Kenyan side. Members of the delegation stated that a well-developed logistics network will effectively guarantee a stable supply in the African market in the future.

 


Focusing on the application of agricultural technology, the delegation visited the Shikefeng tea tree planting demonstration base in depth. Agricultural technology experts demonstrated soil testing, formula fertilization and crop nutrition diagnosis techniques on the spot. The vast and vigorous tea gardens directly confirmed the effectiveness of precise fertilization technology. In the tea processing workshop, the delegation observed the modern techniques from the blanching of fresh leaves to the packaging of finished products, and experienced the achievements of the coordinated development of the entire industrial chain through the tasting session.

 



At the exchange meeting, President Xie Ruojun elaborated in detail on the company's technical advantages in areas such as precise fertilization and soil improvement, and proposed customized product solutions based on the characteristics of African soil. She said that enterprises will rely on the cooperation framework of the Belt and Road Initiative to provide systematic support for African agriculture, including products, technologies and services.

The delegation of Kenya highly affirmed the comprehensive strength of Schafeng in the fields of fertilizer research and development, intelligent manufacturing and agricultural services, and particularly emphasized the urgent demand of the African market for efficient and environmentally friendly fertilizers and agricultural technical services. The two sides reached a strategic cooperation framework on issues such as establishing a technical training mechanism, jointly building African demonstration farms, and optimizing cross-border supply chains.

 

 

This visit marks a crucial step forward in Schkefeng's internationalization strategy. Through on-site verification of technical strength and industrial capabilities, the two sides have established a higher-level mutual trust and cooperation, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent promotion of agricultural technology transfer between China and Africa and the support of agricultural development. In the future, Schafeng will continue to deepen multi-dimensional cooperation with African countries such as Kenya, jointly exploring innovative paths for green agriculture and sustainable development.
